Lori Slaven, Superintendent
Lori Slaven joined Taft City School District on July 1, 2022, as Superintendent of School. Dr. Slaven was a Superintendent/Principal at Hughes Elizabeth Lakes Union Elementary School for six years prior. She holds a doctoral degree in organizational leadership, master's of education in administration, and a bachelor's degree in liberal studies.

Melissa Taylor has been with the Taft City School District for over 30 years. During her tenure, she has served as a teacher, site administrator, and Director of Education Services.
