There is no adult supervision before 7:25 am Students should not be on campus before 7:25 am for any reason.

Students arriving on campus may do so through the cafeteria door on Sixth St. or the gate on Wildcat Way. Students may not enter the campus through the office before 7:40 am

Students who arrive late to school must report to the office for a tardy slip. Arriving late habitually may result in disciplinary action.

Students who walk to school and must cross Sixth and Warren Streets are required to use the underpass provided for their safety. Those who travel at Emmons Park Drive and Sixth St. must cross with the crossing guard.

Please note that the school buses will be dropping off and picking up students in the bus loading zone (Wildcat Way), so that area will likely be very congested at start and dismissal times. Likewise, Sixth Street is often highly crowded since Lincoln School’s operating hours vary slightly from Roosevelt’s. Parents who transport their students are encouraged to choose a location outside these areas to pick up and drop them off. Parents/guardians should NEVER double-park, call children out into the street to a vehicle, or have a child jaywalk to a car parked on the opposite side of the road for obvious safety reasons. Roosevelt students are not allowed to wait in front of the school, at the district office, or on any other campus for the school to be dismissed. Student supervision is not available at that time and is the parent's responsibility.
